Bhalru Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") operates RetainerOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our service. By using RetainerOS, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Account information: Your email address and password when you register for RetainerOS.
• Business data: Information you enter about your clients, retainer packages, and time entries.
• Integration credentials: API tokens for third-party services such as Toggl and Harvest, stored securely and used solely to sync your time data.
• Billing information: Payment details processed and stored securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
• Usage data: Log data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the RetainerOS service
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Sync time entries from connected third-party services on your behalf
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmations and receipts
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve and develop the service
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate RetainerOS, including:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — application hosting

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and processes data only as necessary to provide their services to us.

5. Client Portal Data

RetainerOS allows you to share a read-only client portal via a unique URL. This portal displays your client's name, retainer hours, and time entry descriptions. No sensitive agency data, API credentials, or other clients' information is exposed through these links. You are responsible for sharing these links only with intended recipients.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the service. Upon account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

9. Cookies

RetainerOS uses essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from using the service.
